Through the resale of your generous donations, we are able to help fund the construction and repair of homes with Wichita Habitat for Humanity.

donation guidelines




Please note that the following information is meant to serve as a general guide for donors. Acceptable items are subject to change.1 Legal restrictions and limited storage capacity prevent the acceptance of some items.

Items must be in new or gently-used condition, clean, stain-free, ready to sell as-is, complete with all pieces. We are unable to accept broken, stained, inoperable items, or items that violate health and safety regulations. Our ReStore staff and volunteers will assess your items, and reserve the right to decline donations, either in part or entirety, if it does not meet our donation criteria or standards.

  • New or gently-used kitchen appliances.
  • New or gently-used laundry appliances.
  • Small appliances like vacuum cleaners and coffee makers.
  • Items must be clean, ready to sell as-is, and complete with all pieces.
  • Vintage appliances may be taken on a case-by-case basis.

  • Large or small appliances over 15 years old.
  • Large or small appliances not in working order.
  • Rusted appliances or without all parts.

pickup requirements




Requesting a pickup for your home? We request that all donations be brought out to the curbside, into your driveway, or to an easily accessible part of your garage. Our pick-up staff cannot enter your home to retrieve items due to liability concerns. Use our Priority Pick-up option, powered by ReSupply, and items can be retrieved from anywhere (including within your residence or a storage unit). Pick-up fee minimums may apply.2
